OUTREACH PROGRAM FOR THE SUGAR INDUSTRYOPSI-Farm Management Training, an in-house and on-site training for various players in the industry. Thousands of sugarcane planters, farm owners and managers, mill representatives, farm laborers, chemical company representatives, agricultural technicians, university professors, students, LGU representatives and hundreds of Agrarian Reform beneficiaries were already graduates of this program. These graduates are currently organized as the OPSI Alumni Foundation, Inc.

SUMMER FARM PRACTICEEvery year, SRA-LGAREC, together with the other member-agencies of LGARDC, is accepting graduating students from nearby agricultural colleges and universities for their training farm practice.
For either a semester or for 2 months, the students are immersed in various aspects of crop and animal production.
